L & A had a beautiful wedding, surrounded by family and friends, and a pretty beautiful day for it too. The morning started out at A's family home, for hair and make-up, and quite a lot of fanning to keep cool and maintain a steady nerve! The bridesmaids were in 2 coordinating designs of gorgeous dusty pink dresses, and were perfectly complimented by their baby pink bouquets. A wore a beautiful fishtail fit gown covered with lace, and a modesty lining under the sheer illusion back.
The bridal party were then collected by A's proud father and made their way to their family Church for their first ceremony. When L & A emerged, beaming with all of their loved ones, it was soon onto the perfect drinks reception within the Church of mixed cordials and fizzes, with a wonderful side of delicious doughnuts!
Their main reception was at Eastwell Manor, a grand and elegant country house set in the middle of the Kent countryside. The views were spectacular, and the house had such a welcoming and intimate atmosphere. L & A had dressed the tables wonderfully, and there were flowers spilling everywhere, and light pouring into the room through centuries old glazed windows. After the wedding breakfast, speeches and an excellent game of Mr & Mrs were finished, L & A departed Eastwell Manor with their immediate family, waved off by all their guests.
Each family has their own traditions, and L&A are part of the LDS Church, which meant that their wedding had a special extra layer of tradition and ceremony which gave a wonderful romantic and very focussed sentiment to their day. They made their way to Temple, for their souls to be sealed together in a very private ceremony. As they arrived at the Temple, the sun was beginning to set and the Temple and grounds were lit up in a gorgeous golden glow, just perfect for a few gentle couple portraits before we'd leave them to this calm and private end to their day, and the beginning of their future together.
Many happy congratulations to the both of you!
